What really IS the best F/TF colour....and why?

We all have our views on our favourite colour for our F's and TF's (and I guess in most cases that will be the colour we own).

I think Trophy blue is the best colour because blue happens to be my favourite colour and Trophy Blue is - to me - the perfect shade of blue. It also polishes up well and everyone comments on what a nice colour it is :)

So why is yours the best colour? ;)

Black, I just love the shine you get on a black car, really deep glossy and luxurious.

it also complements my grey hair, when I drive with the top down it looks like a pint of guiness on wheels

I have to agree with that. I polished up the Rover yesterday ready for someone to come have a look at and instantly fell in love with the colour of it again :cloud9: Quite tempted to get the F resprayed in the same

For obvious reasons Mike, I'm in complete agreement with you! I looked for a Trophy Blue 160 for ages as I loved the colour so much. It just seems to suit the TF so well.

Black or Anthracite were the only other colours I considered, as when they are polished, they look fantastic. The only thing that put me off when I bought the TF, was that every other car that I'd owned in the past, was black or a dark colour. I thought it was time for change this time round!

The only 2 colours I was interested in when I was looking for a car was Trophy Blue and X-Power Grey.... So those are the best colours in my eyes.... However with the standard black hood I think a Black or White car goes best with that.... Glad my hard top is colour coded ;)

The colours that really make the TF stand out are Trophy Blue and Silver, they really show the lines properly, I noticed once out of green and a black TF in a car park and my Trophy Blue, quite a few people went over and looked at mine, the other TF's never got a glance! :D

Was recently looking for a Trophy Blue TF 160 to replace my white MGF, which would sit on the drive alongside my Trophy Blue ZT.

Just couldnt find one, so ended up with an XPower Grey 160. Still a nice colour, but my first choice woulb be Trophy Blue, which seems to be doing well in this thread!

I had the same trouble. I read somewhere on here that Trophy Blue was the most popular colour for the TF, in terms of volume sales, yet I could hardly find any 160's.

I did eventually, it made me think that it perhaps wasn't so popular for the 160's, but was more popular on the other variants.
