Any thoughts on the differences in driving experience, reliability, problems, etc between a stop-start 2017 model and the facelift version?
Obvious differences are exterior and interior styling, but what other factors to consider?
Hi Bertie, if you have test driven both you will have noticed the enhanced quality feel of facelift with an emphasis more on "classy" than on "sporty". Whilst pre-2018 is pretty classy and facelift is actually really pretty sporty!
To my mind, unless you feel you have to have the old look on what is essentially the same car, and if you can find one in the colour you want, the answer to your question is "warranty". Maybe you can even afford a new one, and why not, MG3 is about the cheapest proper car you can buy unless you need a smaller size in which case I'd go C1!
