Hi! Looking for any advice at all as I am absolutely stumped..

I have an MG3 2015 with the standard bluetooth head unit that supports calls etc. I've always used bluetooth with my iPhone and had no issues with audio or calls. Now I have switched to a Samsung Galaxy s20 and the bluetooth is too unreliable. Maybe 10% of the time it connects and works just like it should. But most of the time the phone shows the music is playing through the car stereo, yet the head unit will show 'no bluetooth audio'. I've done the usual turn the head unit off and on again, unpair and re-pair bluetooth, restart the phone, reset all bluetooth settings etc but it still won't work properly. On the phone's developer options i've tried the 'turn off A2DP hardware offload', i've tried changing the AVRCP version all through 1.3 to 1.6 and it still won't work. I even had the phone replaced in case it was the specific phone I had but I still have the issue with another phone.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions
