Compared with the April 2020 of complete lockdown, when MG sold a massive 45 to go one better than Renault, it's been a stupendous April with lots of zeroes in the year-on-year percentages , which I omit.

It's actually been a pretty good month as showrooms re-open. A lot of diesels sold - for fleets?

ManufacturerApr mthv MGMkt %

Fiat1,271(875)0.90%

Honda2,231851.58%
Mazda2,243971.58%
Renault2,3612151.67%
Citroën2,6414951.87%

The YTD figures also show MG zooming away from Fiat/Dacia/Suzuki and now mixing it with Mazda and Honda (and winning YTD!) - Honda seem to have engine problems (not enough EVs?) as they slow down 30%. Renault and Citroën are ahead for now.

BEV sales are down to just 2/3 of diesel as per the whole year.
