Hi, I have a Rover R8 with non working central locking, can anyone tell me the location of control module please. I have a lock in passenger door which should mean no central locking, however I have actuators fitted and wired, so the question is, where do the wires terminate, the car is 1995 214 i 8 valve SPi just passed MOT with no advisories, Thank You, Regards Dennis.

Don’t know the R8 well, but have you checked the relays that serve them?

5As is as you call it "control module" for central locking. Lucas 5AS ECU is alarm and central locking ECU for the car. So if you have central locking they will terminate at 5AS connector.

Hi, does anyone know if door locks or central locking actuators from later 200 or 400 models fit R8's please? Thank You.

I think I found the answer your question (see link below), it looks like the R8 (mk2) and R3 (mk3) shared the same system, however the R3 with flashing indicators >MY98 has super locking:
